Chapter 1
The Gift of Prophecy
The prophecies of Nostradamus have continued to fascinate and amaze the people of the world for the last five centuries. Since the birth of history, mankind has been drawn to prophecy and visions of the future. The accuracy of the prophecies that are fulfilled and have come to pass has been the driving force that verifies their authenticity and believability. Throughout history there have been people who have been endowed with the spiritual capacity to perceive, that which is behind the veil of eternity, and see the things that are to come in the future. The world of the Prophets is the world of the Spirit, being devoid of the physical limitations to which we, as people in the physical world, are confined. In the world of the Spirit, time itself is non-existent, all is one and one is all. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, or that which is the Whole or Complete Spirit of God, meaning the emanation of the Presence of God, the Prophets and seers are guided to which message of the future is most important for them to relay or bring.Nostradamus opens his book of prophecies in the second quatrain by saying that he is able to receive his gift of prophecy by meditating on the BRANCHES.

Quatrain 2
(Original French) La verge en main mise au milieu de BRANCHESDe l’onde il moulle & le limbe & le pied:Un peur & voix fremissant par les manches:Splendeur divine. Le divin pres s’assied.
(English translation) The wand in the hand is placed in the middle of the BRANCHES.With water he sprinkles both the hem of his garment and his foot.A voice, fear: he trembles in his robes.Divine splendour; the god sits nearby.
Here are the important keys to understanding the message that Nostradamus brings. Nostradamus opens with his first verse of the second quatrain by saying that it has to do with the BRANCHES. The letters of the word “BRANCHES” in this quatrain are all capitalized and the English and French word for “Branch” are the same word. Nostradamus deliberately did this, as this is the reference in the Bible to the 3rd chapter of the Book of Zechariah in the Old Testament where this word BRANCH is also all capitalized:
“Hear now, O Joshua the High Priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at:for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.”(Zechariah 3:8 KJV)
Find out who these BRANCHES really are!
