In the quatrain of Nostradamus that describes the King of Terror, the last verse has a double meaning.

“In the year 1999 and seven monthsa great King of Terror will come from the sky.He will bring back the great King of the Mongols.Before and after war rules.”(Century X Q72)

In the last verse it says “Before and after war rules.” The word “War” is derived from Nostradamus’ reference to the planet Mars, who is known in ancient mythology as the “god of War.”

“In the year 1999 and seven months,The Great King of Terror will come from the sky.He will bring back to life the great king of Angolmois [Mongols but of the anglo peoples, British and US],Before and after Mars reigns happily.”

The usage of the name “Mars” has been interpreted to mean “War” as Mars was the “god of War”. So it can mean “Before and after war rules” meaning before, is the first gulf war and the 9-11, and after, is the second gulf war and then the nuking of New York. But also in August of 2003 the planet Mars was literally the closest to the earth it has been in the last 50,000 years.

Look for Mars in the nighttime sky during August. The Red Planet hasn’t been this close to Earth - 34.6 million miles - for more than 50,000 years.

Earth’s red friend Mars will draw closer this coming month than it ever has in recorded history. August is the month to witness an event that hasn’t occurred for more than 50,000 years.

“Not since the dawn of time, they’re saying,” offered University of Montana astronomer Dave Friend. At 3:51 a.m. on Aug. 27, Mars will be a mere 34,646,000 miles from Earth - the planets’ closest passing in recorded history. Mars watchers will want to look in the southern sky in the constellation Aquarius.”

Thus this shows that the King of Terror can be no one other than George Bush, as “Mars” dates this disaster of the INVASION OF IRAQ in the year 2003, the very year Bush went into Baghdad, Iraq following in the footsteps of the Mongols, with MARS in its closest approach to earth in 50,000 years! See how accurate Nostradamus is!

Furthermore, the exact day that Mars is the closest to earth is August 27, so in the preceding quote Nostradamus is suggesting that an event will happen before Mars reaches that point of being closest to earth that will escalate the war and will unfold past this date of August 27th.
